The Kronplatz: a paradise for skiers and snowboarders

Over 105 kilometres of slope, 30 ski-lifts, a capacity of 63.900 persons per hour and 300 employees, who take care of the security, the preparation and the quality of the pistes – a stay of one week is hardly enough to experience everything. A complete system of over 200 snow cannons guarantees perfect snow conditions on the slopes during the whole ski season.

In the morning smoothed pistes and traditional huts will wait for you; on the Kronplatz you don’t have to stand in line before taking the ski-lift. Moreover there is a wide range of possibilities for families and children: animation programmes for children, a snow park, child-proof ski-lifts and ski courses for groups.

If you look for a challenge, you will find it on one of the “black five”. The Kronplatz is one of few skiing areas in the Alps which have five black downhill slopes.

The Alp Cron Moarhof is near the centre of Olang and is therefore ideally situated for taking a romantic walk even in the evening. The bus stop of the ski bus is directly opposite the hotel and you will reach the valley station in less than 5 minutes. In our hotel you can get your ski pass, so that you can go straight to the slopes.
