The “Moarhof” farmhouse was expanded
in 1974 to incorporate its first guest rooms. In those
days we offered a simple bed and breakfast service and the
guests were able to join the family and farm workers for their
evening meal. |

The bed and breakfast business continued
until 1997, when the farm business was separated from today’s
hotel. Whilst his brother took over the farm, Reinhold took on
the house with its eleven guestrooms and set to work extending
it. |
 |
Over the coming two years the new-build went on in several different
stages, whilst Reinhold and Viktoria ran another hotel business. In
1999 the hotel was finally opened and inaugurated with a
celebration. Now the hotel’s guests are looked after in distinctive
style by the family of five. |
